Comprehensive scenario and variant guide for Catan
Free All of Catan! is the third and final scenario of the Legend of the Conquerors campaign.
The invaders attacking Catan, marching towards the largest city in northeastern Catan, was met with fierce resistance, having been worn down by repeated obstructions and ambushes. Eventually, however, the invaders were able to breach the city’s walls, and fierce fighting broke out between the invaders and the Catanians with their improved arms. Though the fighting was fierce, the invaders were eventually defeated, and were sent into retreat into the various stockades and other defensive emplacements that they had constructed in the north of Catan. Thora, leading the defense of the city, barely survived an encounter with the invaders, with Roven, a trusted subordinate and local warlord, sacrificing himself to protect her from an errant lance meant to pierce her. Dagur, also having aided in the defenses, decides to ride to the relatively untouched south of Catan to muster up reinforcements while Thora pursues the retreating forces.
Four weeks after the attack, Wyler reports that the invaders are awaiting reinforcements from abroad while bunkered down in their forts. Thora, knowing that reinforcements may overwhelm her new recruits from the south, is forced to accelerate her plan to displace the invaders. Wyler also proposes a plan to wait until the invaders have received their reinforcements before Aegis makes an attempt to capture the reinforcement ships, cutting off the invaders’ way of retreating. Two weeks later, this plan is put into action, with Thora racing to have her forces displace as many invaders as possible before enemy reinforcements arrive.
Ultimately, the Catanians, aided by a prolonged drought, were successful in destroying the enemy forts, and forcing the invading forces, mostly comprising of mercenaries, to surrender. With the surrender, Thora and Aegis were in a position to demand an end to hostilities between Catan and the old world. Many of the enemy combatants eventually integrated into Catanian society after serving out their war punishments, and Wyler had secured a foreign outpost on the south side of Catan, which eventually became a prospering harbor city. Thora and Dagur eventually retired in peace, and Catan continued to thrive long afterwards, with military protection from Wyler’s home kingdom.

Roadblock markers are markers that contain a picture of a road with a crossed out marker on top of it. These pieces are irregularly shaped in both English and international sets, despite the differences in the road pieces used therein; the shape of the marker is meant to accommodate the irregular shape of road pieces from international sets.
Roadblock markers, as the name implies, prevent the building of roads along a particular path. These markers do not move once placed, locking players out for the entire duration of the game.
Game is to 18 points. However, the game may also end if the barbarians reach one of the last three spaces on the track, and the red die rolled on the production roll shows a specific number as indicated on the space. If the latter occurrs:
Legend Points are awarded as follows:
When playing the campaign, players who were defeated must re-attempt the scenario, either with the normal setup or with the handicap setup. Players who were victorious now tally up the Legend Points accumulated over the course of the campaign. The winner of the campaign is the player with the most Legend Points. If there is a tie, the total progress on the Hero Tracks on the winning playthroughs of each scenario is used as a tiebreaker. (Hero Track progression on scenario playthroughs where the players are defeated do not count.) If this still results in a tie, the second tiegreaker goes to total victory points on winning scenario playthroughs. (Again, disregard playthroughs where players are defeated.)
