A Bridge Site is a path on which a Bridge may be built. Bridge Sites generally exist on the paths that separate the hexes on a River multi-hex, and are demarcated with a dotted line.

Each river multi-hex will also have a path on the edge of the hex where the namesake river will head off of the hex. Depending on the edition, that path may be a bridge site, or may be entirely inaccessible. In any event, there will be an offset dotted line to mark the path as a bridge site.

• Roads may not be built on bridge sites, though coastal bridge sites may still accommodate a ship.
