The Wagon Board is a board used in the scenario “Traders & Barbarians”, and outlines the abilities of the Wagon therein. These replace the Baggage Train cards introduced in earlier editions of Traders & Barbarians, which served the same purpose.

Appearance

The Wagon Board is a board in the shape of a wagon, with five spaces where a marker can be placed. Each space is associated with a level, which contains information on the Wagon’s movement range, ability to drive off Barbarians, and the gold received when Commodity Tokens are delivered.

Gameplay

• At the start of the game, the marker is placed on the first (leftmost) space on the Wagon Board.
• A player may pay the upgrade cost of the wagon, depicted between the spaces on the Wagon Board, to move their marker to the next space on the Wagon Board.
• Full Upgrade Bonus: A player with their marker on the final (rightmost) space on the Wagon Board earns one additional victory point.
