Cloth Tokens are a piece of equipment used in the Seafarers. They were introduced in the English 6th edition for the scenario “Cloth for Catan”, as part of the effort to fully separate the roles of the Catan chit from a general-purpose counter to their dedicated role of being a victory point marker.

The introduction of dedicated tokens for cloth is not new, however, to the 4th international edition. In particular, De Diamanten used diamond pieces in much the same role.

Appearance

Cloth tokens are square tokens that depict cloth (as seen in Cities & Knights) on one side and half of a victory point marker on the other.

Gameplay

• Every pair of Cloth Tokens is worth 1 victory point. An unpaired Cloth Token is worth no victory points.
