Catan: Seafarers Scenario: Hawaii was originally released as the 2017 entry in the Catan Geographies series of scenarios. Uniquely among the scenarios of that line, it requires Seafarers to play.

The original release of the scenario was being part of the Catan Geographies series, and was only for the English version. Subsequent releases, which saw both an English and international edition release, made this a standalone scenario, released alongside Legend of the Sea Robbers. The standalone scenario adds a tile sheet for additional equipment not present in either the base game or Seafarers.
